Joe' siblings were Francis Louise Martin (Syrkels) , Iriene Martin (Yother), Clyde Burlson Martin, Almara Martin (Dunkin), Pearl Martin (Dunkin), Mildred Martin (Russell) Graham.
The last living sibling was his sister Pearl.
Joe was a truck driver most of his life. He did some garage work (working on cars, trucks) He could overhaul an engine. Around 1960-61 he worked at a Mausoleum in Pomona, California. He mainly drove oil tankers. He loved to get together with friends/family and play guitars, harmonica's, mandolin.
Joe is of course buried in Oaklawn cemetery , Wynnewood, Oklahoma .
His sister Irene Yother (Lot 42) , his brother Clyde martin (died at 28 yrs) Lot 42, his sister Almara Dunkin and her husband , Vester (Jake) Dunkin are buried a section to the West of Joe's grave, his paternal grandparents, Sarah FRANCIS Martin and James Wyley Martin are also buried in Lot 42. Joe's parents are buried in Oaklawn cemetery two sections to the East of Joe's grave. Joe has a grave marker provided by the military as he served in the Oklahoma RCT Com 1 180 Infantry.
