John was born to Anthony Wayne Miller & Marie Opal (Bridges) Miller. Sisters: Sondra, Linda, & Susan Brother: Robert. He married Bo while serving in the U.S. Army. They had a son Wayne Lee. John, also, enjoyed his stepson, Tommy.
Having felt love and duty for his country, he served 13 years on active duty in the U.S. Army. After serving in the military, Johnnie worked along side his Father at Miller's Used Cars.
His ability and knowledge, with all aspects pertaining to automobiles, never ceased to amaze those who knew him well.
He loved his family and felt a strong loyalty toward each of them. Among his many attributes, he had a great affection for all God's creatures.
