Georgia M. BROBECK of Steamboat Springs died July 15, 2000, at her home. She was 81.
Georgia was born September 25, 1918, in Grove, Kansas, to Orie C. and Agnes M. (Roemer) SCOTT. She married Charles J. BROBECK March 05, 1948, in Steamboat Springs.
During her lifetime, Georgia worked as a waitress, was employed with the former Steamboat Dry Cleaning and Laundry and was a nurse's aide at Routt Memorial Hospital.
She and her husband enjoyed fishing and camping and Georgia was an avid gardener. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include four sisters; Alta KREBS of Scott City, Kansas, Louise CROUCH of Zephyr Hills, Florida, Lois MULLER of Pratt, Kansas and Erma JACKA of Oakley, Kansas; three brothers, Merlyn SCOTT of Mesa, Arizona; Fred SCOTT of El Segundo, California, and Bill SCOTT of Oakley, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Ilene; and six brothers, Vincent, Kenneth, Vern, Glen, Alvin and Leslie.
Funeral Services were held July 19 at Peterson Funeral Home in Steamboat Springs with Rob Ryg of Euzoe Bible Church officiating. Musicians were Maureen Hogue and Tyke Pierce. Interment was at the Steamboat Springs Cemetery.
