It is with profound regret that we note the death of Mr. W. C. Buchholz, for many years a prominent and highly esteemed farmer of Kinney Valley, which occurred last week Wednesday evening at six o'clock, resulting from a complication of diseases.
Mr. Buchholz had been in poor health for a number of years past, and while no hopes where held out for his recovery, his demise at this time was entirely unexpected and came as a great shock to his family and friends.
Deceased was 66 years and 28 days of age, and leaves to mourn his demise his widow, seven sons and one daughter, besides friends innumerable.
Funeral services were held from the home at two o'clock, the Rev. Loeper officiating, after which the remains were laid to their last resting place in the South Ridge Lutheran Cemetery.
The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
