Lucian Joseph Albert Bibeau, Son of Fred and Sara M Belisle of Amery, Polk, Wisconsin, USA. Lucian was served with the USAAF in WWII and lost his life when his plane, P51 44-11688 78th Fighter Group crashed at Hitzhausen near Ostercappeln, Germany.

Lt Bibeau, Yellow 4, made a tight 360 degrees and went down again, shot the loco, pulled up off the target and over the hill. He then seemed to lose his elevator control. He kept the wings level and appeared to attempt a belly landing. he hit the ground with great speed and the plane burst into flames on impact.
