Lt Bibeau, Yellow 4, made a tight 360 degrees and went down again, shot the loco, pulled up off the target and over the hill. He then seemed to lose his elevator control. He kept the wings level and appeared to attempt a belly landing. he hit the ground with great speed and the plane burst into flames on impact.
