A native of Brownsburg, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvarine Griffith and grew up in the Raintown community. He was married in 1919 to the late Gay Scott, who died in March 1960.
Services were conducted, Friday morning, in the Jones & Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with the Rev. James Shockley of Danville officiating. Burial was in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.
He is survived by a brother, Russell Griffith, of Lizton and nieces and nephews.
