Death of Robert B. Alchin
Our well known citizen, Mr. Robert B. Alchin, of the firm of Alchin & Co., died on Tuesday last, after a short but serious illness. Mr. Alchin was one of our most respected, worth and valuable citizens, and for years has occupied a prominent position in the Fire Department. His funeral was attended yesterday by the Fireman of the city and a large concourse of citizens. Mr. Alchin leaves none but friends, and they of the most devoted kind.
