ity died Oct. 14, 1992 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
funeral will be 11a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at the United Methodist church in boyne city with the Rev. Gary Bondarenko officiating. burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 4, 1928 in Antrim County the sone of Earl and Myrtle (Sheldon) Bricker. He attended East Jordan schools, graduating in 1947. He also attended Diesel Engineering School in chicago in 1955.
On Feb. 20,1954 he married Adella Crick in Boyne City and she survives.
Mr. Bricker worked for the Porter cherry Farm , East Jordan co-op and the East Jordan school system where he was a bus superintendent-mechanic from 1968 until his retirement in 1991.
Mr Bricker was a member of the American Legion and was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving with the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Patricia Koteskey and her husband Gary of Boyne City and Pamela Grove and her husband Robert of Brighton; his mother Myrtle Bricker of Boyne City; seven grandchildren, Kristina, Rebecca, Nicholas and Michael Koteskey and Jesse, Jeremiah and Joshua Grove and two sisters Della Sevenski of Boyne City and Mary Rewekant of Livonia. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Emily Katherine and his father.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes for memorial contributions are available at the Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City where friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today Oct. 15 and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday Oct 16. Visitation wils also be held one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday at the church.
