J. E. (Jim) Bollier, Sr., 90, died in a Hamilton nursing home on Monday, May 26, following a short illness. Services were held Wednesday, May 28, in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel. With Rev. Bill Ferguson officiating and Rev. Bill Watson assisting. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr. Bollier was born in Hamilton County the son of the late Henry and Mary Brandon Bollier. He lived in this area all of his life. On September 30, 1917, he married Effie Lou Graham. She survives him. He was a retired farmer and rancher and county employee. He was a Baptist.

Other survivors include three daughters: Fern Canuteson, Melba McAdams, and Shirley Watson; a sister, Annie Herron; two brothers, Wiley Bollier and Kooken Bollier.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. A son and a daughter preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were Ricky Dorris, Dan Bollier, Darvin Evans, Travis Johnson, Billy Watson, and Dick Durham.
