Daughter of Andrew Bruce and Agnes (Reney) Bruce. Her parents were from Glasgow, Scotland, and were weavers by trade. Her first husband, Hugh Miller died. She married James Conn about 1830. They lived in Washington County, PA. where James was a mason and bricklayer. James Conn died in 1878 in Beaver County, same year, his wife passed away on May 8th. They were both members of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
