OXFORD -Services for Early L. "June" Bobo Jr., 66, of Oxford, Rt. 9, were today at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Miller Funeral Home In charge. Mr. Bobo died Saturday at a Smyrna, Ga., hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys Waits Bobo of Mableton, Ga.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Pat Means of Mableton; a stepson, Donald E. Webb of Mableton; three sisters, Mrs. Margie Prater, Mrs. Willie B. Gray and Mrs. Ester Austin, all of Oxford; two brothers, David Bobo and Henry Bobo, both of Oxford; a step-brother, William Bonner of Saks; and a step-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Pelham Hubbard, Daryl Ginn, Benny Shaddix, Gerald Roberts, Clyde Hurst and Guy B. Waits. Honorary pallbearers were members of Hartwell Lodge 101.
Mr. Bobo was a Calhoun County resident all of his life, a member of Hartwell Lodge 101 and World War II veteran.
