Conrad A. Lantron, radioman second class, has been killed in action in the Pacific, according to word received by B.S. Lantron, boatswain's mate second class with the Ward Island Fire Department, Corpus Christi, and father of the radioman.

The young Lantron, killed in action is a cousin of "Curly" Lantron of Borger. B.S. Lantron recently received the Purple Heart for wounds received in the First World War. He joined the Navy following his son's enlistment in World War II.
