Killed In Action on mission to Tokyo. Where the bomber went down and under what circumstances have not been learned for the purpose of this biography write-up. He apparently was able to parachute out, but died on the ground afterwards. Under what conditions is unknown. His remains were never identified. One crew member survived and returned home following the war.
