THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, March 24, 1963, Page 6:"Death of Mrs. John Bean, 70, of 420-14th NW, occurred Saturday at 1:50 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been a patient several days. Born at Maxey, Aug. 20, 1890, Mrs. Bean was a daughter of Luther and Josephine (Thrasher) Thomasson. She leaves her husband; two children, Luther Bean, Dallas, and Mrs. Prentice Byers, Paris; seven other descendants, and a brother, Claude Thomasson, Dallas. Mrs. Bean's funeral will be held Monday at 4 p.m. in Gene Roden & Sons chapel, and interment made in Evergreen Cemetery."
