Josephine was the second wife of Judge William Wick " J. W." Harrell (Judge was a name, not a title).

The Daily Republican of Friday March 4, 1887, p. 2, col. 3, reported,

"Mrs. [Josephine E. J. Day] Harrell, wife of Commissioner Judge Wick Harrell, living near Fairland, died yesterday evening of a lingering illness with consumption. Mr. Harrell has the sympathy of his friends in his sorrow. The time of the funeral is not announced."
