Funeral At Alfalfa For Mrs. Hansen
Final rites for Mrs. W.H. Hansen were held at the Alfalfa Baptist church Wednesday afternoon following her death at her home north of town Monday, Jan. 8. R.E. Harvey of the Harvey Funeral Home of Fort Cobb conducted the service and burial was made in the Alfalfa cemetery.
Gladys Elsie Cross was born near Putnam City in Dewey county October 3, 1903, and was 36 years of age at the time of her death. She had been a member of the United Brethren church since early childhood.
In 1922 she was married to William H. Hansen and to them four daughters were born. They are Carolyn, Melba, Clarice and Barbara Jean.
Besides the immediate family other survivors are her mother, Mrs. W.E. Cross, a sister, Mrs. Everett Goin, and a brother, Henry Cross, all of Putnam City and many other near relatives and a host of friends.
