CORINTH: Jefferson "Durell" Killough, 74, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, in Corinth. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, gospel music, dominoes and family.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Hight Funeral Home (on the grounds of Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery) with Bro. Bill Moore and Bro. South officiating. Burial will be in the Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery located in Corinth, Alcorn County, Mississippi.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Francis Marie (Plaxico) Killough; four daughters, Mary (Killough) Barnes and husband, Pat, of Ripley, Brenda (Killough) Wyatt and Rose (Killough) Oxner, both of Corinth, and Ora Lee (Killough) Cooper and husband, Charles, of Rienzi; one brother, George Killough and wife, Jerri, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and one sister, Alice "Cordelia" (Killough) Basden of Corinth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Jefferson "Jeff" Killough and Sallie Leeora (Strickland) Killough; his bothers, Robert Taylor Killough and Lloyd "Russell" Killough; and his sisters, Glendora Fay (Killough) Mason and Leeora (Killough) Davidson-McClung.
Pallbearers will be Charles Killough, James Burnes, David Basden, Roy Basden, Joe Duncan and W. C. Thrasher.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:30 today at the funeral home.
