Virginia Irene Calvird of Florida, formerly of this area, passed away June 19, 1982 at Barnesville, GA at the age of 63. She was born August 17, 1918, in Flat River to Walter and Bessie (Haile) Calvird of Desloge. She was preceded in death by her father.
Surviving are her mother; two daughters, one son and two grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, June 23 at 2 p.m. at graveside with Rev. Edwin Hunter officiating.
Interment was in Herod Cemetery under the direction of C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home of Desloge.
