Wilda Long was married to Lester McVey in 1925, and they were blessed with one daughter, Phyllis. The marriage ended in divorce, and then Wilda was married to Roy McVey on August 14, 1934, and they were married over 54 years.
Wilda lived her whole life in Lucas County, Iowa and was a devoted wife and mother to daughter Phyllis. Besides her husband and daughter, Wilda was survived by two sisters and a brother: Nina Morrison, Theo Woods, and Russell Long; nieces and nephews and friends. Wilda loved living on a farm, loved caring for the animals, was fond of her pet birds and dogs, too. She was a good gardener of vegetables and flowers.
