Geraldine C. "Geri" Gasiorek, 74, of Kennedyville, Md., died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in Chester River Hospital, Chestertown, Md.

Geri was born on Sept. 2, 1934, in Rothsay, daughter of the late Elmer and Toneta Aaberg Johnson.

She has lived in Kentmore Park for 31 years, where she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, boating on the Sassafras River, gardening, sewing, cooking, singing, playing the paino, puzzles and bingo. She was a member of Kennedyville United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mark J. Gasiorek; and a brother, Paul Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert J. Gasiorek, a son, Scott B. (Ann) Gasiorek of Marlton, N.J.; a daughter, Christine (Joe) Hickman of Chestertown; two sisters Beverly Boulware Peacock of Buford, S.C., and Sandy J. Thompson of Fergus Fall; a brother, Steve Johnson of Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren, Chelsea, Hunter and Nathan Hickman and Arin Gasiorek

Memorials may be offered to Kennedyville United Methodist Church. P.O. Box 32, Kennedyville, MD 21645

Visitation: Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.

Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kennedyville United Methodist Church, Kennedyville, Md.,
