Mrs. Sallie Hughes died October 5, 1947 at her home on Route 3, Fulton, of a heart attack. She was 70. Services were held Oct. 7 at Gum Cemetery. She had been a member of the Gum Church of Christ for 30 years.
She leaves three sons, J. E. Hughes of Fulton, Rt. 3, R. R. Hughes of Fulton, W. B. Hughes of Detroit, Mich.; and a daughter, Mrs. Hester Alred of Centre, Ala.
