Charles E. Bixler
Charles E. Bixler, 54, a World War Veteran, died Saturday morning at his home, 253 S. Pine St. after a long illness. He was a native of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and had lived in Lima for about 30 years. He was a stonecutter by trade.
Surviving are his wife, Elva; his father and mother, William and Anna Bixler of Wolcottville, Ind., and two brothers, Harry and Jesse, both of Ft. Wayne.
He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and the Brotherhood Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be held at the late home Monday at 10 a.m., in charge of Rev. W. B. Arthur of Alger, Burial will be in Alger Cemetery.
