He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol Brookover; son, Don Brookover and wife Laura; daughters, Sheryl LaLonde and husband Tom and Sue Haase and husband Tim; grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly and husband Tim, Matthew, Joshua, Hanna, Magen, Emilee and Elizabeth; brothers, Richard Brookover and wife Teana and Jesse Brookover and wife Diana; sister, Margaret Handke and husband Roger; numerous loving family members and friends and loving puppy dogs. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Pasadena, 1062 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX 77504.
