Ladoga, Betty R. Wright, 53, of 707 Cherry Street, Ladoga died at 3 Pm, Friday in Culver Union Hospital. She had been seriously ill for the last four weeks. She was a member of the Ladoga Baptist Church and attended Roachdale Schools. She was employed by Golden Manor Nursing Home at Ladoga. Mrs. Wright was born Dec 26, 1932, at Roachdale, a daughter of Edgar and Retta Pinkerton McCloud. She was married to Mahlon C. Wright of Ladoga on 3 November 1973, he survives. Also surviving are 11 sons, Keith Pitman of Lafayette, Tim Pitman, Tom Abney and Keith Wright, all of Ladoga, Todd Abney of Texas, John Abney of Barberton, Ohio, Jim and Larry Abney of Akron Ohio, Paul Abney stationed with the U.S. Navy in North Carolina and Daniel and James Wright of Indianapolis; a daughter Retta Walls of Crawfordsville; a step daughter, Sharon Wright of Indianapolis; a Sister, Margaret Williams of Roachdale and nine grandchildren. Services are set for 10:30 am Monday in Servies and Morgan Funeral Home at Ladoga with the Rev. Sheldon Meir officiating. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call 3-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
