Helen S. Lowrey, 82, of OKC, passed away July 5, 2010. Helen was born March 20, 1928 in Elk City, OK to Booker and Celia Pruet. Helen worked as a hairdresser and enjoyed Ballroom, and Country and Western Dancing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Lee Lowrey; son, Lance Lee Lowrey; one brother and one sister. Survivors include her daughter Barbara Jackson and husband Rick; sister, Charlene Sudderth; and grandchildren, Dina and husband Brannon Elder, Matt and wife Margie Jackson, Brent Jackson and Scott Jackson; great granddaughter, Sarah Elder. Viewing and visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Services are 10:00 AM Saturday at Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel.
