This cemetery was once the Potter's Field for Potawattamie County. it contains the remains of over 250 souls including many children. after it was no longer in use, nature took over and it became overgrown with weeds and trees. I tried, unsucessfully, to reclaim it for two years in the late 80's. But public support was not there and all though I was able to find several graves and even mark them , I had to give up in1989 and let nature reclaim it once again. MAY ALL WHO LIE THERE REST IN PEACE!
