Bessie June Waid age 93, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Houston Congregational Church in Houston, Alabama. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Waid was born on June 21, 1917 in Blount County. She was preceded in death by her parents John Edgar and Eva Matilda Fondren Frazier, her husband Milford Howard Waid, two sons, Edward and Hershel Waid.
Survivors include sons: Bobby Gean Waid of Arley, AL, E.J. Waid, of Double Springs, AL, Ronald Waid (Thelma) of Houston, AL, daughters: Mona Lee Spear (Bobby) of Milledgeville, GA Catherine Sue W. Nix (Bill) of Cullman Co., AL, Pamela Lawler (Keith) of Arley, AL, Brother W.C. Frazier, 15 Grandchildren, 27 Great Granchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
