Via grave data, she was born 18 Jun 1819, but other records state she was born 20 Jun 1819. Via LDS record, she married Joseph White on 19 Oct 1837.

Mrs. Fanny White, widow of the late Joseph White, of Nichols and daughter of Mr. John Smith, also of Nichols, died at her residence in the town of Nichols Wednesday, about 10:30 A. M., aged 67 years. Her death was very sudden as she had been sick but about four days. Among the large circle of relatives are four children, Wm. W. White, of Nichols, Joseph F. White, of Binghamton; Mrs. Almira Sacketf, of Nichols; and Mrs. D. B. Thomas, of Tioga. She also leaves four brothers, John, Charles and Harvey Smith, of Nichols, and Joseph W. Smith, of Owego; and five sisters, Mrs. John Leonard and Mrs. A. S. Parmelee, of Owego; Mrs. Lucina Lane and Mrs. Cornelia Ketchum, of Nichols, and Mrs. Preston Signor,. of Tioga. The funeral was held today (Friday) at 11:00 A. M., at the River Valley church.
