Mrs. Weddle Services Set

Mrs. E.H. Weddle, 74, of 123 E. 19th St., widow of an early West Texas ranchman, died at 1:35 a.m. Saturday at St. John's hospital.

Born April 1, 1882 at Cuero, Mrs. Weddle married the late E.H. Weddle March 4, 1900, at Glen Rose. They moved to Coleman County in 1908 and resided there until 1925 when they moved to this area.

They ranched at Big Lake and Robert Lee. They were ranching at Robert Lee at the time of Mr. Weddle's death in 1948. Mrs. Weddle moved to San Angelo and had resided here since that time.

Funeral services will be held in First Primitive Baptist Church, 1819 N. Magdalen, at 2 p.m. Monday. Elder Jack West of Anson the the Rev. Luster Lockett, minister of the Lakeview Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Johnson's Funeral Home is in charge.

Survivors include a daughter, Miss Villa Weddle of Las Angeles, Calif; two sons John Weddle of South Gate, Calif. and Joe E. Weddle of San Angelo: a sister Mrs. Cora Wofford of Yorktown; three brothers, Walter Newman, Bill Newman and Jess Newman, all of Glen Rose.

Pallbearers will be nephews Estes Finley of Cohoma, Laster Finley of Loraine, Hester Finley of Lubbock, Fritz Langohr of San Angelo, Ray Richey of Big Spring and Jimmie Key of Snyder.
