Surviving are three sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise Ward of Walnut Cove, Betty and Odell Alley and Barbara Jean and Fountain Manning of Danbury; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gaylon and Novella Adams of Westfield and Roy Adams of King; two granddaughters; five grandsons; several great-grandchildren; special friends Mary Simmons and Kenneth and Barbara Wright of Westfield; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by five sisters, Thelma Cox, Lela Smith, Marie Joyce, Ersell McHone and Hessie Mae Southern, and two brothers, Troy Adams and James Gaither Adams.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church by Elder David Edwards and Elder J.H. Keaton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wright is at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home and Chapel in Pilot Mountain and will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Wednesday evening, Jan. 10, 2001, at the funeral home and other times at the home of Gaylon and Novella Adams, Westfield.
