Agnes was born to Jenny Luella and Johnathan Welty.

Aggie served as a PFC in the US Army during World War II. She served domestically and in the Pacific Theater, mostly in Japan. She was awarded the following: American Theater World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, Japan Good Conduct Medal.

Aggie spent most of her working years at the Kaiser Tin Mill in Fontana, California. She retired in 1978 after 27 years with the company.
