Ernest Leonard Pierce, 67, of Turlock died Monday at Rainbow Haven Convalescent Hospital.
Mr. Pierce was a native of Henryetta, Okla. He had lived in Turlock since 1972. He was a welder for Rogers Foods. He had served in the navy.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Dupuy of Orlando, Fla., Martha Wents of Long Island, N.Y., Muriel Baran and Marleah Pierce, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and Shirley Pierce of Kissimmee, Fla.; a brother, Donald Pierce of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; a sister, Muriel Renard of Glendale, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren..
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Turlock Memorial Park, Allen Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
