Buster Garland Knox, 85, of Turlock died Monday at Brandel Manor Convalescent Hospital.
Mr. Knox was a native of Brock, Texas. He lived in Turlock 60 years and previously lived in Patterson five years. He was a rural route mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Henryna Elizabeth "Betty" Thompson Knox and son, Darryl Byron Knox.
He is survived by his son, Jerry (Alene) Knox of Mountain Home, Idaho; and brother, R.J. Knox of Texas.
