Irma Fabsits, 79, died Saturday, May 24, 1997, at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on Nov. 24, 1917, daughter of the late John "Honas" and Theresa Bauer Fabsits.
Miss Fabsits worked for Nosco Plastics Co. for several years. She enjoyed bowling.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Arogast.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Madeline Gates and Mrs. Katherine Hatch and her husband, Donald, all of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, West 25th and Sassafras streets, Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held there Wednesday at 9 a.m. The Rev. Jeffrey Lucas, pastor of St. Joseph Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
