Abraham farmed the 133 acres he received from the estate of his father. In 1870 he sold a piece of the land to the trustees of St. Paul's Union Chuch for the erection of a church building. This church was a union of the Evangelical Lutherans, the German Reformed Evangelical Association. the Methodist Episcopals, the Dunkards, the Mennonite Amish, and the United Brethren in Chiist. In 1889 Abram and Mary were living in Port Treverton, Pa., when they deeded their farm to their son Daniel. After Abraham's death his widow Mary lived with her son Daniel.
