Hetzel

Mrs. Minna Hetzel, widow of John Hetzel of Cleveland, died at 2 a.m. today at the St. Nicholas hospital, Sheboygan, after a short illness.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Hetzel homestead and at 2 p.m. in St. John and St. Peter Lutheran church, Cleveland. The Rev. Martin Braun will officiate. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Sheboygan. The casket will not be opened at the church.

Friends may view the remains at the Hetzel homestead from 7 p.m. Saturday until the time of the services Monday. The body had first been removed to the Nennig funeral home at St. Wendel.

Mrs. Hetzel was born January 25, 1867, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jaeger. She attended rural schools and lived at home until her marriage on April 9, 1891 to John Hetzel, who preceded her in death four years ago. She was also preceded by two sisters and four brothers.

Since her husband's death, Mrs. Hetzel had made her home with her son, Gilbert and daughter Alma, who survive with another daughter, Mrs. Mabel Grupe of Cleveland. There are four grandchildren.
