T. Pat Graham dies at Salix
Was School Superintendent at Alcester About Twenty Years Ago
T. Pat Graham of Salix, Iowa, passed away last Friday afternoon following an illness of the flu. He had been a sufferer from a heart ailment and this complicated with the flu was the cause of his death.
Funeral services were held at the Salix Community church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. John Ralston officiating. Burial was at Sloan. Relatives from Hawarden who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bancroft, Mrs. W. C. Newton, Mrs. Albert Baugus and son, and Floyd Nelson.
Mr. Graham had reached the age of 58 years. Over twenty years ago he came to Alcester and was superintendent of the Alcester schools for two or three years. Later he was united in marriage with Lillian Cox and for a number of years they have lived at Salix. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leon Eveleth of Salix, his mother, Mrs. Drusilla Graham, and four brothers and two sisters.
