Logan-Funeral services were held from the Belton funeral home at 2 p:m. Saturday for Rolla Blankenship, 51, who died Tuesday night in Mercy Hospital, Council Bluffs. The service was conducted by Rev. George Dimmitt of the Methodist Church and burial was in the Logan Cemetery.
Born in Illinois, he lived in the Logan community most of his life, moving to Council Bluffs last year. He is survived by his widow: three daughters, Mrs Virginia Weisbrod of Plainfield, N.J., Mrs Stella Dishon of Council Bluffs, one son, Sgt. James H. Blankenship, stationed at Goodfellow Field, Tex. and five grandchildren.
