Mary Johnson, 77, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, Jan 31, 2004, at Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg.
The daughter of Miles Franklin and Carrie (Allen) Sexton, she was born Sept. 28, 1936, in Red Lion. Mary loved baby-sitting, making quilts, cooking and watching TV westerns.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest, in 1994 and two sons, Earnest in 1974 and Robert in 2003.
Mary is survived by two sons, Willard of Franklin and Gerald of Chillicothe; daughters Jo Ann (Jetty) Burkhead of Camden and Carol (Steve) Parker of Franklin, Beulah (Wayne) Manning of Dayton, Gladys Hall of Columbus and Kim Rulz of Texas; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves sisters Beulah Glenn of Seaman, Ohio, Berniece Trent of Dayton, Rene Glenn of Indiana and Carrie Goins of North Carolina.
