Renno F. Gillen, 76, of Avilla died Saturday evening, January 17, in his home.
Gillen was born February 2, 1899 in Payne, Ohio, the son of John and Rettie (Steeves) Gillen.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Orland United Methodist Church.
In October 1975 he married Delores Vogeding, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, one of LaGrange and one of Scottsdale, Arizona; three sons, one of Angola, one of Tempe, Arizona and one of Phoenix, Arizona; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the United Brethren in Christ Church, McGill, Ohio, Wednesday, January 21 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ford Stidham, officiating.
Burial was in the Lehman Cemetery of McGill, Ohio.
The Klink Funeral Home of Angola had charge of arrangements.
