Robert was the son of Reuel Coffey Sr. and Mary Josphine Brown. He married Dorothy Louise Burgoon on Nov. 4,1938. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy Seabees in the Aleutian and Pacific islands. After the war he worked as a mechanic and a candy salesman.
Bob was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Lawrenceville IL Shrine Club. Robert was the father of two daughters,two granddaughters, and one great grandson.
Bob and his wife retired and moved from Lawrenceville to Florida in 1992. He died of lung cancer in Spring Hill and is buried alongside his wife in the Veterans section of this cemetery.
