Selma Agnes Vanderveer, 91, of Hillman, Michigan, passed away at Medilodge of Hillman on Friday, June 18, 2010.
Selma Bahrke was born in Royston, Michigan to the late Rudolph Bahrke and Helena (Heinrick) Bahrke on July 10, 1918 and married Myron Vanderveer on October 14, 1936. Myron preceded her in death on September 3, 2006.
Selma was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Royston.
Surviving were 3 daughters, Darline (Mrs. Ronald) Wood of Hillman, Geraldine (Mrs. Glenn) Hubbard of Hillman, Ruthann (Mrs. Norman) Benson of Posen; two sons, Joseph (Sharon) of Hillman, Larry (Sharon) of Lachine; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Mark (Hazel) of Hillman; and a sister-in-law, Ethel Vanderveer of Waterford.
Preceding Selma Vanderveer in death were an infant son, William Dale; a great-great-granddaughter; 5 brothers; and 4 sisters.
