Paul B. Fehring passed away Friday, July 30, 2010, at his home in Sterling. He was 72 years, 4 months, and 22 days old.
Paul was born March 3, 1938 in Sterling, Oklahoma, Frank and Gladys (Summers) Fehring. He attended Sterling Catholic School until 1954 when it closed. He then graduated from Sterling High School in 1955. After graduation, Paul joined the Navy Aviation. He served his country for 4 years until 1959 in Naples, Italy. Paul then married Doris Jean Carlson on July 23, 1960. The two were married for 50 years and were blessed with 2 sons. Paul worked at Ft. Sill as a Civil Servant in DOL until retiring in June of 1993. He owned and operated PB's TV's shop until 1973. Paul was a rancher and a farmer. He enjoyed golfing, computers, and watching his granddaughters play softball. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed!
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Fehring, of the home; 2 sons: Troy Fehring and his wife Sandy of Sterling and Todd Fehring of Clairemore; and 5 granddaughters: Jenny, Casey, Emily, Lindsey, and Bailee Fehring.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Gladys Fehring and his infant daughter.
