Mrs. Jennie Hawver died Monday in St. Mary's hospital. She had been ill six weeks having failed to rally from an attack of influenza. She was an active member of the Grace Methodist church. Her husband had farmed near Hammond and Oreana. His death was about ten years ago.
She was born July 6, 1868 in Maryland. She lived in or near Decatur for many years. She leaves three children, Paul of Chicago, Harold, Helen of Decatur, her mother Mrs. Sue Jeffers, brother, Arthur, sister, Mrs. Nell Fullenwider, all of Denver Col, sisters, Mrs. Pearl Wise, Chicago, Mrs. Eva Marton, Springfield, brother Harold Jeffers of Garden city, Kansas.
