Paralytic Stroke Proves Fatal
Was Eighty-three Years of Age

Mrs. Malinda Murphy, aged eighty-three, died in her home in this city last Friday morning fro the effects of a paralystic strok received the Sunday previous, and which affected the whole of her right side.
Depite her advanced age Mrs. Murphy had enjoyed the best of health up to the moment she was stricken. However, there were little hopes that she could recover the stroke.
Mrs. Murphy was the widow of Jerry Murphy, and doubtless the oldest citizen of Cloverport in point of residence here, having lived in this city the greater part of her life.
She was a dovoted member of the Baptist Church and a consistent Christian. The funeral services were conducted from the residence by Re. J. T. Lewis, pastor of the Baptist church, on Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Interment was in the city cemetery.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by six children, namely: Mrs. F.M. Ragsdale, Grandview, Ind.; Mrs. Albert Moxley, Hartford, Ky.; Mrs. John Lillard and Miss Laura Murphy, Cloverport; Caleb Murphy, Narrows, Ky.; Henry Murphy, San Antonia, Tex,
