MRS. FRANCES TYSON
The funeral of Mrs. Frances Lillian Tyson, 93, who died Sunday, March 4, 1990 at Lizenbert Hospital, Central City, Nebraska, will be March 7, at 2 p.m. at Murray Presbyterian Church in Murray with the Rev. Heidi McGinness officiating.
Mrs. Tyson formerly lived in Murray and had resided in recent years at Bethesda Care Home in Central City. she was born November 17, 1896 in Red Oak, Iowa, daughter of Gustaf and Anna Johnson Peterson. She married Roland William Tyson on April 20, 1932 at Marysville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on Janaury 27, 1967, in Omaha.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ann Marilyn Huebner of Grand Island; grandchildren, Richard Huebner of Aurora, Colorado, John Huebner of Breckenridgge, Colorado, James Huebner of Grand Island and Susan Huebner of Lincoln, and four great grandchildren.
She grew up in Omaha and after graduation from high school, worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. After her marriage she joined her physician husband as his office secretary and aide until his retirement.
She was a member of the Home Chapter 189, Order of Eastern Star and Presbyterian Women's Missionary Society.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Elmwood, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6 at Fusselman-Perry-Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth.
Memorials are suggested to the Roland Tyson Fund at University of Nebraska Medical Center.
