LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. - Helen June (Thomson) Settle Grimes, Lee's Summit, formerly Agency, Mo., died Nov. 19, 2006.
Helen was born June 20, 1921, to Harry Benjamin Thomson and Ella Lucille (Cline) Thomson in Agency.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis K. Settle; sister Aileen Clinton; children David W. Settle, Nancy J. Voltz and Richard K. Settle; and son-in-law, Joseph S. Scharff.
Helen is survived by her husband, Lloyd E. Grimes of the home; twin sister, Hilah J. Ussary; children, Connie L. Scharff and Kenneth L. Settle; stepson, Richard E. Grimes, and daughter-in-law, Mary E. Settle; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; and many, many friends.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at the Agency Cemetery in Agency, Mo. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Langsford Funeral Home, Lee's Summit.
