Dallas Ore, August 26 - Mrs Jennie Lacey 78 resident of the dallas-falls city area for the past 18 years died Sunday at her home here following a long illness.
She was born at Carter Country tenn July 5 1879 and was married to J W Lacey at Elizabethton tenn, Jan 21 1908. He survives.
Also survivors are ten children 44 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
The family resided at falls city for 12 years and come to dallas six years ago.
Mrs Lacey was a lifelong memberof the Baptist Church and belonged to the Rebekha Lodge and Daughters of America. She formly was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxillary here. The ten children surviving include seven sons; Herbert and Bill both of Charleston W. Va: Pearl, Hampton Tenn, Gene, Hubert and Tom all of Dallas Ore and John of Estacada Ore. Thee daughters, Mrs Bernie Worder os Salem. Mrs Nita Bruce of Knoxville, Tenn and Mrs Maggie Moffitt of broads beck Pennsylvania.
Brothers cart and Bruce Smith both of Elizabethton Tenn and a sister Mrs alice Russell also of Elizabethton.
Funeral services will be at 10 am wednesday at the Bollman Chapel in Dlass with the Revsficiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens near Salem.
