Max A O'Dell, age 87, passed away quietly July 27, 2010 at the home of his daughter (Nancy) in Fishers, Indiana. He was the fifth of seven children born January 10, 1923 to Charles A. and Ethel (Reck) O'Dell and is survived by three sisters; Lula Noggle, Donna Trick and Edna Copeland all of Greenville, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a Marine Corps veteran having served his duty in the South Pacific during WWII. Max and Mary retired in 1988 after he served as a pastor for the United Methodist Church in several Southern Indiana churches.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Mary Jane O Dell.
He is also survived by his three daughters, Sandra (Tom) McClure of Shelbyville, IN, Nancy (Jack) Walz of Fishers, Indiana and Gail (Mike) Birchfield of Carmel, IN,; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
