TEDD G HOLLY: An express truck driver identi-fied as Tedd G Holly 26 of Erie PA was burned to death at 6:40 AM when the huge motor freight outfit he was driving plunged off Rt90 directly in front of the Squaw Creek Country Club a mile south of Vienna & burst into flame as it crashed thru a bridge abutment. State Patrol officers said the driver apparently fell asleep as he was driving toward Youngstown with a load of metal breakfast tables & chairs & other miscellaneous freight which was dam-aged by the blaze which resulted from an explosion in the gasoline tanks. Officers were not able at noon to learn at what point Holly loaded the truck or discover the destination. The tractor trailer outfit is owned by the PONY Express Co of Erie.

The deceased was born 25 Sep 1914 in Erie, a son of George & Jessie Holly. He has resided in Eire practically all his life & was employed by the PONY Express Co about 4 years.
Surviving are his wife Marian DelPorto Holly & a son William Arthur; his father of Erie; 3 sisters & 5 brothers.
The body will be taken to Erie today from the Gillen Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Thursday in Erie.
